The Intellivalve™ can be installed by any service facility that has the ability to mount and balance tires. The installation of the Intellivalve™ shouldn't take any
longer than it does to balance a set of tires. Your
service facility may charge you a nominal fee to install the Intellivalve™. If you are having the Intellivalve™ installed at the time of purchasing new wheels or tires, you should not expect any extra charges for installation. Our Intellivalve™ system is a bolt-in system. There are no bands or counter-weights involved. The valve stem is the same as a regular valve stem. The Intellivalve™ sensors
weigh just over an ounce each. The monitor attaches to your dashboard with Velcro. It can be installed in a variety of positions to accommodate any vehicle's design, and the driver's comfort. You can easily program the monitor according to your own vehicle
and tire specifications.
WARNING:
Please use caution when installing the Intellivalve System’s valve stem. Do Not Over Tighten! The recommended torque setting is 10 in pounds. Over tightening can break or strip the valve, which may cause leaks or break the sensor. |
